Harun Yahya

I'm a Muslim, I was born and raised in Muslim family, with ideas that God created everything and he created Humans or Man from dirty, etc.

Today I do not believe in creation idea it has no logic, no proof and it doesn't sound logical, yes many people like Harun Yahya will point finger at me and say I'm not Muslim because I don't follow his view of Quran.

Frankly speaking in my view he isn't following my view of Quran, first of all he has to understand Quran is a book of Guidance, no where in Quran it claims to be book of science or book of History. I am a true believer of Quran and follower of Quran, so I'll talk here putting forth verses from Quran to prove my point. I'll be using translation from Yusuf Ali, which is approved translation by Saudi Government and one of the acceptable translations by majority of Muslims, though I do not support this translation to be the best or even very accurate.

First of all let me start by saying Quran does not talk about creation or evolution accurately, the verses from creation could be seen by evolutionist as verses talking about evolution, I'll paste here verses from Surah Bakarh talking about creation of Adam and show you how I see them, then I'll show you that even what I say is wrong and what Harun Yahaya say is wrong.

2:30 Behold thy Lord said to the angels: "I will create a vicegerent on earth." They said "Wilt thou place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed blood? Whilst we do celebrate Thy praises and glorify Thy holy (name)?" He said: "I know what ye know not."

Point #1. When God said "I will create a vicegerent on earth", how come Angles say, "Wilt thou place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed blood?", point being how long the earth was active with life before man was created? Because if Earth was created few days back then for sure Angles wouldn't say anything because there wasn't any mischief and blood shed, it means that earth was created long time before man was made or humans evolved.

Point #2. God said "I will create a vicegerent on earth" not in heaven, thus where did point about heaven come from in popular Muslim belief?

Point #3. In verse 32, angles tell god "Glory to Thee of knowledge we have none save that Thou hast taught us", this means they have no idea what this new creation or thing God is talking about is going to shed blood, unless there was more species of same type, if angles claim to learn what God taught them or by experience (whatever), there is no way for angles to claim that "Wilt thou place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed blood?". Thus there were many other species of Pre-Human before final Human was selected as last chain that'd survive, simply proving evolution theory to perfection.

2: 31 And He taught Adam the nature of all things; then He placed them before the angels and said: "Tell Me the nature of these if ye are right."

Now God is cheating here, he told Adam (Human) everything and asked angles the nature of things, I can't teach student 1 everything and then ask student 2, hey tell me whats answer to this, then claim student 1 is better than student 2. Or maybe what Quran is saying here is God gave Adam (Human) Wisdom to see the nature and ponder it to learn about it as Angles can't learn on their own but this newly evolved human was different he had capacity to learn. Which goes hand in hand with theory of evolution that Humans developed larger brains and started learning new techniques of hunting and gathering, they could make logical choice. If you look at it from a creation point of view the verse says "God cheated" but from a evolution point of view its clear that human after becoming human got larger brains to see things logically, to know "nature of things".

2:32 They said: "Glory to Thee of knowledge we have none save that Thou hast taught us: in truth it is Thou who art perfect in knowledge and wisdom."

So these poor angles didn't know what God was talking about so they said we don't know, because God knows everything, or this verse is telling us newly evolved human were different they knew about nature things which previous things, (including angles) didn't know or figure out, i.e. this was first smart creation on "Earth" as God has specified not in universe as God has not specified that.

2:33 He said: "O Adam! tell them their natures." When he had told them Allah said: "Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of heaven and earth and I know what ye reveal and what ye conceal?"

So this new Human was able to show amazing ability to know the nature of things, like fire, he could make a spear out of stones and sticks, he could burn things, plant things and make them grow to his needs, amazing new evolved thing.

2:34 And behold We said to the angels: "Bow down to Adam"; and they bowed down not so Iblis he refused and was haughty he was of those who reject Faith.

Logically Iblis (Lucifer) fella can't be real so this is our brain that does wrong things, make us hurt others and do mischief and shed blood, things like, anger, greed, lust, etc. When God asked good things to hail new Human they did but one bad part of this new evolution didn't agree to hail, it would try to overtake this newly evolved Human and not bend to it but make him bend to itself.

2:35 We said: "O Adam! dwell thou and thy wife in the garden and eat of the bountiful things therein as (where and when) ye will but approach not this tree or ye run into harm and transgression."

So this new human was in central African forest where there was plenty to eat off trees but as Earth was more warmer forest covered most of Africa including Eastern side of Africa, God is saying that if this human had stayed inside this central African region it wouldn't have run into problems and progressed (good or bad), but he does venture into Eastern side and faces troubles as next verse says.

2:36 Then did Satan make them slip from the (garden) and get them out of the state (of felicity) in which they had been. We said: "Get ye down all (ye people) with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling place and your means of livelihood for a time."

So this guy goes to Eastern side which is now getting bit dry no trees, not being so strong on ground and larger animals like lions and hyenas preying on this new Human, runs into troubles and harms, thus to protect himself he uses brain and thus God says "Get ye down all" (remember all), get ye down from where, from trees?

Why "all", 2 people are not "all", here all is a clue telling us there were many like "Adam" (Human), so they are down from trees and "dwelling place" has been changed from "trees" to land (earth) and human started to farm where he could find river and water body.

Thus another major step in evolution of humans, is explained in Quran.

Thus Quran explains evolution and not creation.

But I and Harun are both wrong in saying these things because of one very important verse in Quran.

3:7 He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book: in it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the Book: others are allegorical. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical seeking discord and searching for its hidden meanings but no one knows its hidden meanings except Allah and those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our Lord"; and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding.

Are these verses "basic or fundamental" (of established meaning)? For sure the above verses are not Basic or fundamental (laws) and they don't have established meaning as I could make a different meaning out of it than Harun Yahya, these verse are in category listed here as "others are allegorical". Now what does God say about these "others"?

"But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical seeking to discord and searching for its hidden meanings", i.e. as a Muslim you don't have to worry about those verses if you do then you do not have faith in God and even if you try you'll never get the right meaning because only God knows best what it means you can only assume and mislead people.

So best thing is to leave these verses alone and not to mess with idea about "creation" or "evolution" whatever sounds logical to you is best for you because God will not ask you, why did you believe in "evolution" or why you not believe in "creationism", but God will ask you "why did you try to search for its hidden meaning when I told you not to?"

Thus conclusion being, Harun Yahya should stop trying to be God to know all the meaning of these allegory and just follow what God has asked of him, commands of God are more important then these theories, things like Following God only, Being good to your parents, Giving in for you Children's needs, not to do sins, not to hurt others being clean and good, is important not trying to prove Darwin wrong.

According to me Darwin was the smartest guy who ever walked the earth in field of natural science to come up with this amazing theory that has proven itself true till today and yes I'm a Muslim because whatever Darwin said is nothing against my religion or my faith.

My faith is God is one with one Book of laws to follow, which I do and none that is in that book of laws goes against what Darwin said.

So being Muslim I would like to recommend Mr. Harun Yahya that being brothers in Islam he should stop this false prorogation in name of Islam and teach people about Islam they should know like they should be good to others and not why we hate communism.
